Q: How do I add a new pet?  

From the home screen, tap the “+” button in the top-right corner. Enter your pet’s name, breed, birthday, and optional photo. You can also add target calories and health conditions.


Q: How do I log a meal?  

Tap “Add Food” from the main navigation. Search for a food item, scan a barcode, or add a custom food. Select the portion size and confirm to add it to today’s log.


Q: Can I create custom food entries?  

Yes. If you can’t find a food, tap “Add Custom Food” to enter nutrition details. You can also create food mixes for combinations you use regularly.


Q: How do I set up medication reminders?  

Open your pet’s profile and tap “Add Medication.” Enter the medication name, dosage, frequency, and start date. You’ll receive reminders at scheduled times.


Q: What is FidoBot?  

FidoBot is our AI-powered assistant that helps answer general questions about pet nutrition and wellness. It provides informational guidance only and is not a substitute for professional veterinary advice.


Q: How do I track my pet’s weight?  

On your pet’s card, tap “Log Weight” to record a new measurement. FitPup tracks weight history and displays trends over time.


Q: Can I use FitPup for multiple pets?  

Yes. You can create profiles for multiple pets, each with separate nutrition logs, medications, and health records.


Q: How do I delete a meal I logged by mistake?  

Tap the meal in your daily log to open the edit view, then scroll down and select “Delete Meal.”


Q: Is my data backed up?  

Your account data (such as pets, meals, and medications) is securely stored and synced across devices. Pet photos remain stored locally on your device.


Q: How do I delete my account?  

Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. This permanently deletes your data and cannot be undone.
